Fort Willow, King Museum & Tecumseth West Gwillimbury

Glenn will be selling books all day (rain or shine, 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM) on Saturday, September 19 at the Festival at Fort Willow, Fort Willow is one of the end points of the Nine-Mile Portage, the last link between the Toronto Carrying Place, Lake Simcoe and Georgian Bay. The Fort is located at 2714 Grenfel Road, Minesing (near Barrie). See the map for directions, and click on the poster at the bottom of this page for an idea of what the day will be like.

King Township Museum

Glenn will be speaking about hiking the Toronto Carrying Place on Sunday, September 20 at 2.00 PM in the King Township Museum. The Museum features original buildings such as a charming railway waiting room, and sits very close to the Carrying Place. The address is 2920 King Road, King City (see the poster at the bottom of this page).

Tecumseth and West Gwillimbury Historical Society

And on Monday, September 21 at 7.30 PM, Glenn will be speaking at the Tecumseth West Gwillimbury Women's Institute, 4380 10th Line, Bradford.
